Lovingly Yours

As a little girl I went to a music school to learn to play the piano. We had to do a lot of drills, but as the years go by, my teacher allowed me to chose one song that was not on the program. So, in my sixth year class I have decided it will be th Piano song known as “Lovingly Yours“. A “Ballade pour Adeline“, composed and written by Paul de Senneville and Olivier Toussaint. Firstly, it was played by Richard Clayderman.

Here are links to several versions of this song. Choose which one you think is “Lovingly Yours” and enjoy 🙂

I love the angle you’ve taken for today’s prompt. I didn’t know this composition was so recent. Hearing the music, it bought memories flooding back of friends in my teens practicing this piece in the music room. They were self taught and self motivated. It came from their heart to love the learning and mastery. Nostalgic! I think my fave video for that reason is the second last one. It connects me to the joy of learning and practicing something because you love it.
