My own practice

I did the whole sequence today…. (again stuck in lotus)… but at least I tried them all.

  • Without shortcuts
  • Trying to do the right activation of miscles
  • Using Bandhas
  • Loud breathing
  • Focusing on Dristi (it did escaped several times just like the breath)

But I did it all the way.

I still don’t have drums that I like and want to use as metronom 😎 so I used intro mantra and drum music from You Tube:

After two hours of this practice.. I am completely different person. The change is always changing 😊

These posts are like Letters to Unknown…. I wonder what is the reaction of the readers?!?

In Yoga… even in Ashtanga… there is a Variety of options to create the sequence. I guess we are a little bit different every single day… and I can now only imagine how joyful must be to know the hidden knowledge of Yoga Philosophy to create your own sequence. The sequence that your soul needs for some day.

Since it’s hard not to practice Ashtanga on Saturday and Sun Salutations seems to be not enough… we have the great web sources to explore some other types of yoga 🧘‍♀️😊

Here is in interesting Image how we can find suitable Yoga Style.,,,

I still don’t know the right number of Styles… But sounds great that I still have a lot to learn and experience 😊

Today? I wanted to see how Ashtanga practice changed me… and I tried one of my favorite videos on famous Do Yoga With Me…. and Tracey Noseworthy….

The Daily Spur: Sometimes.

Source of the Image:

Sometimes… there comes a time when you put all of your efforts to do something that would benefit others and yourself, but the result is a kind of demotivating. You can’t successd if everything is against, and you cannot understand why.

Final result? You start looking at the same things from different perspective. You realize that you’ve put too much of yourself in something of no value at all. In time, you start “going with the flow” and find happiness in completely different things.

The book with rules “how you should/must live your life” does not exist. So, in the end you realize…. you can do what ever you want. You don’t have to have a carrier, you don’t have to have family, you dont’ have to have a lot of money. Things are sometimes heading in a completely different direction. But, if you keep empathy and positive vibes and try to do “impossible” in complete different field of life, even the smalles impossible acts of kindness when nobody is watching – you MUST call it success too. It’s integrity, it’s character!

“Integrity is doing the right thing when you don’t have to—when no one else is looking or will ever know.” – Charles Marshall (Shattering the Glass Slipper)

The Daily Spur: Climb.

There’s always gonna be another mountain…to climb. It’s the climb… that counts. weather in the reality or in our mind, our dreams.

I like explanation that any climb in a dream means that the dreamer will overcome any obstacles on the way. So, dream about climbing 🙂 Maybe it’s a part of the plan 🙂

Climb the mountain so you can see the world, not so the world can see you.

The Daily Spur: Bearings.

First idea was the beer and a story about not being able to find a joy in drinking beer.

Then I thought it would be some story about “bear with me” and my way of life.

But then I found this great photo about Teddy bear. It’s almost bear – ing.

Source of the Image: web.

And yes, I have my Teddy Bear. It’s not brown, it is blue and he travels a lot.

He is a kind of friend that it’s always there and “knows everything” and amazingly, due to his nature does not speak about it to anyone.

Well, to be honest, we all have that, but it usually does not have a form of a Teddy Bear, but rather an inner voice that talks to us all the time.

I always wondered….. am I really speaking to myself silently when I have to decide something, or? How can sometimes the feeling of two different voices (“do it” – “don’t do it”) be so real?

Bearing the brain battle can really be the though one…..

How many of them do we handle everyday?

i’m a kind of selfish person when they are in question.

I don’t share my problems, I don’t talk about them with friends and enemies. not even with tears ….

I keep them all for my self.

they are mine, just like happy 💭 thoughts.

But, I comfort them, I explain those unhappy thoughts that we are a happy person, and that we can change every problematic thought in a happy one, every single one!!!.

I do not even call them negative… this is too harsh, they are just a bit spicy…. that need comfort…. to grow in something happy and beautiful.

And if there is nothing more powerful and creative to change those spicy thoughts, I remember this inner child…..

Clouds are natural phenomenon, a result of water and sun and different altitude. Still, we often look in the sky and search for some symbols and shapes, as if it could give us a clue about something or someone. Would a cloud in a shape of a dog mean something?

Would a ghost-like creature of Casper, the friendly ghost mean that we have an invisible friend who is always happy and want to play around with us? Maybe it will. It is said that “what you believe, it will happen”. So, we should truly believe and this little positive creature will somehow make our life happier and better. It might sound as a phantasy, but if we did believe in Santa for a pretty long period of our life, why can’t we believe in a little happy ghost? Being positive and happy is surely a good thing, isn’t it?

In response to daily prompt Stern by The Daily Spur.

Source: Pinterest.

Stern will always be a star for me. It’s not that I cannot add a meaning to it. But, sky and the night has always have a special magic. It shows how small we are in this Universe and how whatever we do, the day will pass and the new night, magic night comes. Sometimes, this routine heals even the deepest wounds…..

Puppis is one of the three constellations that used to form the Greek constellation Argo Navis, which represented the ship on which Jason and the Argonauts sailed to get the Golden Fleece. The French astronomer Nicolas Louis de Lacaille divided the Argo Navis constellation into the three smaller ones – Carina, Puppis and Vela – in the 18th century. Puppis is the largest of the three.

Neither Puppis nor Vela have stars designated Alpha and Beta, as these stars were allocated to Carina constellation.

Puppis is the Stern or the poop deck of the Ship Argo Navis. Puppis is from Latin puppis, ‘stern, poop’, French poupe, from Old Provencal poppa. The word puppis was also used in Latin as a standard word for ‘ship’, but technically it refers to the rear deck of the ship which is the poop deck, the afterpart of a ship.

The word stern derives from Indo-European *sta, the base of a long list of derivative words. In sailing ships the steerage was always located at the stern. The words stern, steer and starboard (steerboard) comes from Germanic *steuro, ‘a steering’ (from Indo-European *sta-).

“The stern (puppis) is the rear part of a ship, as if the term were post (literally ‘after’).” [The Etymologies of Isidore of Seville, 7th century AD, p.374.].
